Reduced cost and Increased profits by >40% after taking over the business unit.

On a satellite based cellular program, the customer was able to obtain a $104,000,000 award for satellite failure ONLY becuase of my method of testing, I knew we needed to test all of the beams and the customer was fine with 15 out of 144. I didn't know how at the time, but I knew 100% of beams needed to be fully tested, so I developed a method to perform that test effieciently. It took 48 hours to perform the test with beam-to-beam isolation and eirp levels and generate a full contour pattern.

Member of Technical Staff

1988-1995

Duties: Budget & Program Management, Chief Measurement Systems Architect (S/W&H/W), RF Microwave W/G and cabling, Networking, C/C++ Development, Supervised UNIX System Administration, Network Administration, and support of all Macintosh & PC Systems in the Microwave Laboratory, Created & Developed the COMSAT Standard IOT System Product to standardize Satellite Payload Testing in the industry.  This Improved the efficiency of In-Orbit Testing by > 30% which then saved about $100,000 a day of mission man-power and also $100,000 a day per channel of lost revenue.  The result was many millions in savings.
